Just saw the post in the DDN fb about the hypothetical rankings and I am a bit confused about how these rankings come about.

How do you keep these rankings consistent? How can all competitions be considered in these rankings? Competitions like Bhangra Blowout and Nashville only take collegiate teams but, how can they will still be considered for rankings? Dhamaka Tamash,a a competition in NJ, does not require an audition video to apply and only takes 4 teams is also considered for these rankings. In the fusion and raas circuits, "nationals" partner with competitions and all applying teams know in advance that they are bid point competitions so each team has the option to apply knowing they have a chance to get to "nationals". How can you prove this system is consistent from comp to comp? Are different comps worth different points? If they are, how do you determine the points for each comp?

Are teams that share dancers still considered? At your comp, who will dancers be eligible to dance for if more than one of their teams gets in as well?

How are UK teams eligible for this? Are all UK competitions fair game as well then? You guys have GCC and BASS listed in your hypothetical ranking but you haven't included a team like Aston University who won TBS 2018.

What is your defined season? January to January or September to september? Or a certain number of months prior to your competition? If you start counting these points now, do summer competitions and Queen City not count?

I do not want to shit on this idea because its not a bad one but, there are just holes that definitely need to be filled before this can be a legitimate competition that is taken seriously.
