acid loop problems
« on: July 11, 2011, 06:16:12 AM »
i'm trying to put loops into my acid project, but some of them when played back in the preview are stuttery or skippy, and stay that way when i add them into a track. if i change the clip property from loop to one-shot, i.e., get rid of tempo compensation, that weirdness goes away.

is that how it's supposed to be? is there no way to work with loops without having them be automatically beatmatched to the project?

happens to me too i think you have to beatmap it.... if its a dhol loop i suggest that you  beatmap it so that its it sounds in sync with the song i use one shot or loop if its a sample like a burah but mostly i use beatmap those too. Just makes the mix better

loops still need to be beatmapped if they are anything but vocal ones like hois and bruaahs glass breaking and all that fun stuff

You could just one-shot all of them and keep on pasting them into the project.

so if you beatmap the loops then the stuttering problem should go away? alright. i hope that also helps the loops match the main track.

one-shotting them all makes it really difficult to repeat a loop that isn't a single sound without it going off-beat constantly.
