« on: March 19, 2011, 01:48:45 PM »
Hey guys I seen alot of mixes where they incorprate a song into another song. Like for example "panga" wasplaying and then the panga beat started the lyrics for another song would be put in there. How do you do that on sony acid.  I searched but couldnt find anything

I'm not sure what you mean so i might be wrong...I think u mean looping the beat of a song and making it into a beat to transition to the next song? If thats what your talking about then it's pretty simple you just gotta find the part of the song where only the beat is playing and you have to find the 4 beat count that you can loop to make it into a beat and you just beat match with the next song that's playing...hope that helps I'm not very good at explaining things lol :P

Either you find parts of a song where there's no music, or you EQ out everything except the vocals for the next song. As soon as the chorus for your first song is over, there's usually a 4 or 8 bar section without vocals. This is usually when you want to add your second song in. Hope that helps

Lol thanks for both your guys help.  I think you guys kinda understand what i mean. Let me try to elaborate a little more. OKay so like the video i put in here go to 0:48 seconds where the  first song starts & then youll notice at 0:50 seconds he added a clip from a different song in and then keep listening and you should understand what im trying to ask. lol hopefully im not good at explaining either. But yea thats whAT I want to know how to do.

Ok I think I understand what your saying...it's basically what H G said you'll usually find 4-8 bars gap usually after the first line (or when the chorus ends)...like in the example you gave the song goes like "Sadi harthan balle balle vai" now where the "putt jattan de maarde barkan" part plays there is suppose to be a gap in the original song and also it all depends on the song...like some songs don't have gaps some songs do

here is a link to my mix
if u go to around :30 there is supposed to be a 4 bar gap in chardi jawani thats where I added the other song
hope that helps
