How to save on Windows Movie Maker
« on: May 05, 2010, 09:25:46 PM »
So I'm making a video on windows movie maker. When I save it, I transfer it to my USB, but when I put my USB into a different computer, it doesn't work. Anybody have a solution to this? :)

did you publish it or just save it? when you save it, it saves in some weird format. publishing it puts it in wmv format which should be playable on other comps.

I was SO moved by your complete lack of googling skills....I didn't even have the heart to give you a 'let me google that for you' link

lol if you want to actually open the project file on another computer where you can edit the clips and make changes then you have to have all the links on your flashdrive as well (the individual movie files and picture files that you used) so that you can link the files for editing . if you want to just have a movie file of how far you have gotten with your project, or the final draft of your video, then you publish it via the menu at the top.

try using adobe after effects cs4 or sony vegas though, they are sickkk!
