Does anybody now any programs or website that i can rip youtube videos from and out them on my i phone?

If you're using firefox, then get the "video downloader helper" plugin

You can use Downloadhelper to get a .flv file from Youtube. After this, I would recommend getting a program called SUPER (google it, first hit). Its a simple program to convert different video/audio files, so you can drag the .flv file into it and use the setting for iPod/iPhone mp4 to get a video your iPhone will like. Hope that helps.

That works but it results in low quality video.
with downloader helper, you can actually download .mp4's directly, you just have to choose either "[HQ18]" for normal 480p videos, "[HQ22]" for 720p videos and "[HQ37]" for 1080p videos. In those formats, the vids should be automatically in the h.264 codec (which is what youtube uses) and should play directly on yout portable device if mp4 is supported.

FFI: if you ever DO want to convert to mp4, use a good encoder like x264 and a simple GUI like RIPbot264.

This is the BEST method out of any other because you are getting the DIRECT STREAM and not converting (encoding) in and out of different formats. Just like an audio file, every time you convert it to a different format or just encode it in general, you lose quality, precious bits of data that make the video what it is.

Most of those one step converters are crap cuz they use retarded ass presets and don't know what's best for you. they also use low quality codecs like xvid, msvideo etc. 

Firefox add-on called FlashGot ...you just click which format you want under the video and you can download right away as long as the movie loaded!!

does it work on mac's? i tried lookin it up and the download link gave me a windows based version only

Try keepvid.com, no need to download any programs or anything just paste the youtube url and it should give you an option to download high quality mp4 under Ipod format

its quik and it gives you a bunch of diff conversion types

"free studio manager", dwld it...it rips youtube videos in HQ and also does lotsa other useful stuff like converting videos to mp3, mpeg....to iphone or psp format...its a nice software....i would highly recommend
