i hope it IS traditional.  show people our culture.  if we do modern stuff its just like watching a regular dance team....doesnt do anything for punjabis or bhangra.

This is amazing..I agree with that loser above me who I erased as a friend on facebook =P.  As for Vick, traditional bhangra will show them REAL Punjab and will entertain the "goray" more.  They will see a real folk dance..it says a fusion teams going so let the fusion team ruin bhangra with their bollywood segment.  I notice you speak on behalf on alot of people...sometimes you speak on behalf of all of India and now its all the white people at the United Center.  Interesting how they've chosen you spokesperson.

Well either way..GO PCS!

they should bring a live singer and a dholi so the goras can see how boring traditional bhangra really is... if I find it kinda boring, there is no doubt in my mind that they wont find it all that entertaining either...

I disagree I believe they would find anything we present to be entertaining and cultural. Moreover, I believe if we are showcasing our art form to thousands of "gorey," we should present it in its purest form.

Just because traditional bhangra isn't entertaining to some people doesn't make it less of a performance. I just hope that whatever was performed represented our culture and art form to its purest and hopefully everyone gained a little glimpse, respect, and insight about into our awesome culture...

Me n my team UIC Bhangra are performing at the bulls game.  We are doing a mix of traditional and modern bhangra.  We wanna entertain everyone while not looking like a stiff modern/fusion dance team.  I wanted to use Dhangs or Saaps but they are really strict about what we can bring on the floor cause they don't want any chance of damaging it or what not.
