It's a moment of celebration for the North American Bhangra community as Bhangra Empire has been invited to perform at the White House. They will be performing for Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and President Barack Obama.

This is pretty historic in itself as Bhangra would be performed for the first time in the White House ( to my best knowledge). Congratulations to all the members of Bay Area Bhangra Empire!

Actually, NYU Bhangra was also invited, but then told they wouldn't be able to perform.
