This year cuBHANGRA is also proud to be affiliated with Prayas. Prayas, based in Delhi & Bihar, provides services for street and slum children (kids found on railway platforms, children in conflict with the law, victims of child trafficking, rape, labor, abuse, & prostitution). The organization gives them shelter, education (vocational and standard), counseling, food, a 24-hour child protection line, and a method of representation in the justice system in order to obtain welfare for the children. Prayas is currently being sponsored by the U.S. government on a project to combat human trafficking in India. For more information about Prayas, please visit http://www.prayasonline.org.

This event is awesome. Definitely one of the best times I've had both on-stage and after. The crowd is HUGE, they sell out every year, and it's just really pumped for all the teams, reminds me a lot of Pao Bhangra. The whole thing just transforms into a massive party after the performances are over, with an awesome mix of bhangra and hip-hop. This year should be even better with a sick lineup so everyone should check it out

I may be biased just because I'm an alum [doubt it though]...always an amazing, amazing night- tons of dancing, and great performances...and I have noo doubt that this year will be better than previous years! Can't wait!
