Waiting to board my flight so decided to do a review while waiting. I only got to watch a few of the teams.

Bhangra Knightz-  Probably the strongest set they have come up with to date. The energy was great like always but unfortunately everything that could go wrong did; shikke locking, masks missing, chadra sliding off, dancers falling. It was just not their night, but every team comes across that once in awhile.  One of the most entertaining sets of the night for sure. Elite 8!!!!

Barb-b-  these girls get better everytime that I see them. Super clean, very creative and energetic. The chunni gimmick was pretty cool.

Bruin Bhangra- the light up shikke at the beginning were cool, like some of the ideas but execution and dancing style was off. One of the guys paag came off .

VCU- you guys were impressive, im sure there has been a lot of pressure to keep up with the 'old vcu' but you guys are well on your way. Super clean, energetic and some of those formations were awsome!

Empire Juniors- sickkkkkkk!!! probably my favourite performance of the night, those kids are sick. Jackie getting shot dying and sumit dragging him off stage gimmick was the best, and the heartbeat shikke awsome!!! These kids are going to be amazing !

Live:

Davis- nice solid execution, great boliyan, loved it! The side guy on the mic went a bit over the top at times, the screaming/yelling was a bit distracting

Gabroo Punjabis-  Pali singing wow!!, nice clean bhangra, great boliyan, energy everything was on point. Was a little messy at a few points but overall a sick performance.

Vdub- ripped live bhangra a new one!-  wow!, I didnt think they could get any better then their Giant performance but they did.
