8 of the best bhangra teams in North America will be invited to compete in Washington DC!
The competition will take place on Feb 27, 2010 at the prestigious GW Lisner Auditorium.

2 teams will be invited from each of the following region:
- US East
- US West
- Canada East
- Canada West

The group sponsoring is called Emdo Entertainment. This is a new group I believe, and it doesn't appear to have any affiliation beyond the use of the auditorium. But this is my best guess. Let's wait and see what they have to say on this.

so I had a question, a team gets announced every thursday, meaning 5 more left, meaning 5 more weeks left of announcing, considering that winter is comming and t he roads get slippery, does that actually give the final t eam to get announced time to practice

and are they at a disadvantage ?? also, the BC teams, cause the olympics are happening, will they be available ??

The teams are confirmed before they're announced. I dont know if it's a week before or perhaps all teams are already confirmed.
