uga had a pagg come off, and they had to dance around it. sagar (in the yellow) had to stop dancing and move it off the stage.

a big thanks to sagar though for tying our paggs..and it was good meetin the other guys from uga too. congrats on the win.

state and unc both had good sets too..congrats to them as well.

i didnt care too much about placings, i just went to have fun with my team (unc) and hang out with my peoples on ncsu and ecu and meet new homies...but placings were somewhat controversial, not trynna bash bulldawg, but in most bhangra comps, a pugh taken off is pretty much not placing...this was not only a pugh coming off, but left on stage for about a minute, then stepped on by 2 girls, then finally taken off but the captain (i think)...from an audience/judge perspective, this alone should have probably eliminated any chances of them placing...but putting that aside, im not one to care that much about placings, its just about havin fun n doin bhangra n being proud of wat u did...all i ask is that the guy who did that on uga, please be respectful of the pugh next time and take the time to go off stage (like the yellow vardi guy did)....im sure u didnt mean to intentionally disrespect it, but im also pretty sure u know that the meaning behind a pugh is very important to a great deal of people and so in respect of that, the performance comes second to making sure u treat the pugh correctly

quick reviews of all the teams besides mine

unc - veryy hype and clean. i  liked the set - and i love your paggs...lavesh youuur nastyyyy - also i hope our sapps worked out for you guys :) also alan guan - their captain i beleive - was absolutely spectacular in the routine...couldnt get much better for a first joridar at this comp

nc state - very hype and clean - enjoyed watching the set b/c it looked like all of their dancers were having alot of fun on stage. i think theyll really tear it up at real bhangra competitoins next semester with what ive seen from rangoli - huge improvement from akd.

uga - you mahhh boyssssssss - thanks for everything and on the very well deserved first place :) hope to see you guys rock it again - dont forget abt that all guy team collaboration ;)

i had sooo much fun w/ all the teams - i honestly dont care abt the placings for any category - we had so much fun as a team with everyone and loved comign to rangoli... with ecu being in a rebulding mode with 9 ppl graduating and only ahving one full team prac and practicing about 45 mins a day from monday -t hursday for 4 weeks...im very happy with my team. we'll get better and better and we'll only improve team!

congrats again to unc, ncsu, and uga for very very good performances!

Yo mad fun competition, props to all the teams for bringin it. Our squad had a great weekend, afterparty was hype (except for the cover), show was fun, started a bit late, but things ran pretty smoothly. I have high quality videos of all the teams, holla at me if you want em
