We do not want to decline teams for application delays.

We strongly urge you to look at our registration packet and apply in a timely manner to be considered for competing in the show. Registration applications have increased exponentially in the last two years, and we already have received many applications. The competition is being held on January 30th, 2010 at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Team registration closes on November 20th, 2009 at 8pm and results will be announced on November 23rd, 2009. LOL I don't think that's the case at all, sulman.

I didn't apply this year, but I think its more that the competition has a different motive that they should have released from the beginning. Like I said last year, it's fairly obvious that Burgh wants collegiate teams. I'd love to see whether ANY independent teams get into this competition this year. And I'm sure that well deserving independent teams will have applied this year.

I was NOT a part of the team-selection process this year because an independent team I danced for once applied. Guys, Burgh takes everything seriously, and there's always a lot of thought and debate that goes into every decision.

The Nov. 23 deadline was notification to teams so they could accept/decline, the board with make an announcement soon don't worry.
