Alright Jason I don't know wtf it is that u have against me, but I came into that room, downloaded the mix for the second time and I pointed out that the mix u had downloaded right befor that was only 12 MB, and the the one I downloaded was 18.1MB....an then u said ok let's play it and check and when u played the track the mix was 7:56 and then u said well I don't know what happened

have you ever noticed that the ads interspersed throughout threads are actually posts made by a user named "Bhangra Teams Forum"? Weird, man.

and bro u even skimmed through the whole track just to make sure it was working and it was...i was there standing right beside the whole time

Whats done was done .. the comp is over now so theres no point of starting beef over BTF ..


yeah the team was responsible for the set .. which we did send the night before .. it doesn't matter if it was night before or the same day of the comp ... we notified the committee that we have sent the mix to them ... and they didn't say anything to us about not bring any cds or anything ..


and as the organizers of the comp its your responsibility to review the sets before the comp and check if its long enough ...


and gurp downloaded the set right in front of one of the committee members as well so technically THERE WAS A DOWNLOAD PROBLEM ..




but whatever .. we won't be coming back to SPD so end of story stop making this a big deal. at the end of the day we are Proud of our girls for finishing the set with just dhol

I initially wasn't going to post but I want to clarify that EVERY team was told they MUST bring a burned CD with their mix. Throughout the previous week, my committee had made multiple attempts to tell your team to BRING A CD! Dudeeee your liaison even offered to drive all the way to your studio to pick it up on multiple occasions. I don't know any other competitions that would have gone to such lengths to try to accommodate you. Even at Punjabi Beat's rehearsal I personally told you guys that you need to go back and BRING A BURNT COPY OF YOUR MIX....so why did you not listen???

And I am not sure why you are mentioning RVPD because that was an entirely different competition which upheld completely different rules. They may not have asked for a cd but we did. Seriously, how many more times did you want us to clarify that we need a burned copy? GIVE ME A BREAK! I don't appreciate your team members going around making false claims that we messed up their music when the fact is that we did not. You guys are just going to have to look to each other and ask yourselves why you would allow yourselves to show up to a bhangra competition unprepared. If you can't abide by the rules then you should have been competing in the first place. Furthermore, Punjabi beat Boys gave us so much attitude during your tech rehearsal and were being so disrespectful. During the show, they showed no regard for the audience. One of my friend's parents had to turn around from his seat and yell at them during a team's performance just to get them to calm down and stop acting so rowdy. I can only imagine how awkward your neighboring audience members must have felt to have witnessed that.

Hopefully your team will learn from this experience and will be better prepared in the future. It was your decision to not follow the rules and ultimately this was YOUR fault not ours.

The committee is now going to refrain from posting and will NOT entertain you with any more posts. It is pointless as it seems almost like a whining child seeking retribution when in fact there is nothing to be gained from this conversation. This situation is over, done and dealt with.

i had a great time and had a good experience at this competition. it was very well run and the committee members were very helpful and nice looking after all the teams needs. it was a fun comp and its always great to see junior and senior teams and see all the local teams Good job
