We are very excited to announce our newly founded team, Cali Bhangra District!!
Based out of Southern California, the newly founded Cali Bhangra District is an all-female bhangra team. The team is a collaboration of seasoned dancers from a variety of bhangra teams, including Bruin Bhangra, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) Bhangra, Da Real Punjabiz, DC Bhangra Crew, Lishkare Apne Punjabiyan De (LAPD), and finally National Bhangra Association. Finding ourselves at a new juncture of our lives, but unable to leave our passion for bhangra behind, we have come together to create a team that is a unique combination of West and East Coast swag, uniting the styles and creating the Cali Bhangra District.
We are currently looking to expand our roster and have a few more lovely ladies join us! We hope to begin competing in the next few months are already working on our routine, mix, and logos. If you are interested in joining, know someone who may be interested, or have any questions PM me. For those interested, we can arrange for a quick and easy tryout. Practice Locations: Irvine and the OC
Practice Days: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays (vary depending on availability)
Times: Vary depending on availability
Dancers commute from Los Angeles, OC, Irvine, Riverside, and San Diego. Carpool is always an option. =)
