One reason why I love Bhangra has to do with dancing in general. Doing Bhangra puts me in a unique state of happiness that cannot be achieved by any other means. I smile wider, let go of everything, and get a rush of euphoria. Its a feeling that can only be expressed as pure joyThere are special aspects of Bhangra that make this possible. First, Bhangra music is so happy and upbeat, and I love the beat of a great, solid dhol. Then aspects of the dance of Bhangra itself, such as its combination of grace and power and intricate formations, makes Bhangra beautiful to watch and be a part of.But most importantly, sharing and creating this joy with my fellow dancers creates a bond of true friendship. That is what I love most about Bhangra.
first and foremost, i love every member of my team. that makes everything about the process of practicing, traveling, and competing way more amazing. we never have a sour or boring moment. awkward moments turn legendary. nothing can touch that.the bhangra side is way too addicting. as said above, the music and dhol is amazing. The dance is so enjoyable and the flow just feels right. it allows me to get away from the 'real' world. its an amazing dance that never gets boring. you can't not be happy and do bhangra. its impossible. and it can make a day that has gone bad and turn it into a great one.at competitions, i get so pumped at tech time listening to the subs rollin w every teams mix. you can't hear the mix clearly but the you can hear the bass in every mix and it gets me hyped up. then while everyone's gettin ready, listening to the dholis warming up or just free stylin gets me psyched and in the zone. then when you're standin side stage, there is a feeling you get when lookin around and your team mates, your best friends, knowing that you guys have put in so much for these next 8 minutes, thankin god for the opportunity to spend those 8 minutes with those people on stage. there is nothing better than bein on stage with those best friends. when you pass them by while dancing and you guys make eye contact, choreographed or not, it makes both of you smile and go harder. makes the time on stage even more epic. The interaction with the audience, hearing them cheer, knowing that they are enjoying your performance makes you feel amazing. that's all any team should ask for is the audience to be entertained. when watching it later, you can hear in the video, that the audience loved your performance and it makes you want to watch the video again and again.performance video's, pride, memories, and best friends are forever. that's what I love about bhangra.
I'm a little curious cause I'm actually writing a paper
