i havent personally tried dling any of these yet but ive heard positive reviews that most of the links work. theres some other good software (non music related) on there too

seems legit, neither avg nor symantec registered anything. Still, I think a torrent is a better option for the programs. The audio stuff is fine. Ram (aka Saab) said that the menus in FL were russian until you scrolled over them. No problem if you're just testing it out, but certainly irritating if you're using it for real. So use these programs to kind of test and see if you want it then go out and get it (torrent, buying, w/e)

I downloaded FL studio, then the rar needed a password and it told me to go on this site and the site was the survey shit you have to fill out or you have to pay for the password

oh word my bad dude.


and science student, cubase is definitely one of the most complicated DAWs out there. it's on par with pro logic and stuff in terms of it's sheer power, but consequently it's quite difficult to use. another consequence of this complexity is its lack of widespread use among amateur mixers and DJs and whatnot; it's difficult to find support for. i wouldn't use it. honestly i think that for 95% of the things the average mixer needs to do, ACID is plenty powerful.
