IN HONOR of 4:20
« on: April 20, 2011, 04:24:20 PM »

In keepin with tradition heres somethin for your viewin pleasure on 4.20.

I filmed this when we first started the company. We had been around for about 6 months but 2 months of that was production. It was early December, we ran with a traditional Christmas theme with primary focus on the model, celebrating a great first 6 month run for the Brand. We had the 'Killen Em' track before Fabolous released it in Nov, gotta love leaks.(Jessie is shown wearing 5ABI KINGS clothing thru out.)

I like how on your website, it states that "5abi Kings is an inspired street clothing brand paying homage to its roots" yet we have half naked girls in your promo video... Great way to pay homage to your roots!

you kidding right ? .. KAMA SUTRA (SMH).

Indians, Punjabis, Hindus, Sikhs are NOT celibate Homie - I respect your opinion, but thats left field.

Most people knock Indian films, because they have moved from the norm of telling a tale of love without sexual interaction of any kind or intimacy - i see that as progression.
Shoot, go back 20 years an tell your elders that there are girls and guys sharing the same platform on Bhangra teams and they would fall out of their seats - open minds go a long way. 5ABI KINGS is payin homage thru name - not Art.
Peace & Love

No, actually I'm not kidding... Putting a Dastar on a skull, with a snake coming out of one eye is progression??? I don't think so... Don't get me started with the naked girls and your Kama Sutra comment... Let's just agree to disagree cause I can already tell this will get nowhere... I respect your opinion. Best of luck in the future!

What happened to Bhangra? I will blame you for the day real animals start coming on stage. Your team is doing well for now.

i'd laugh if i ever saw a full sardar wearin a 5abi kings shirt, seems like punjabi kids these days are too busy tryin 2 be "ghetto thugs" to actually learn and really appreciate punjabi heritage. i'll be honest i got no prob with seein chicks in bikinis, but that doesn't have anythin to do with bein punjabi; just seems like a half-assed attempt to appeal to the urban punjabi youth. lol keep postin stuff on btf i dont mind a good laugh once in a while. kinda reminds me of punjabi kids who grew up all white washed then realize that being punjabi is actually popular and overcompensate in an attempt to show the world how punjabi they can be. dont worry dude im sure your clothing line appeals to all the metro punjabis out there rockin blowouts and khanda tattoos.

Homie first and foremost you missed what i wrote, Christmas themed.

Second, ghetto thugs is no way to label the youth, i feel the same way when i see people spread propaganda - yet they fall short themselves. Ive been to enough Bhangara competitions, to the biggest and the most lowkey and i hit every afterparty - ive seen plenty to upside your statement above but im not here to put anyone on blast just know that  - You can judge, or be judged.

Stay up Man.

I get that 5abi Kings is tryna get their name out there and all but don't justify chicks in bikinis as non-celibacy and Kama Sutra because the whole roots of kama sutra and the beginning of our own roots didn't have chicks in bikinis walking around...

But otherwise give the guys a break, if you don't like their merchandise don't buy it!

lol so you shouldn't expect any feedback if you post something on btf, or is only positive feedback acceptable. in all honesty i haven't seen one thing about "5abi kings" that i find appealing and i fully agree with gtv paji, the skull and dastaar logo is really lame, is it supposed to be edgy and cool in some sort of badass way? if you wanna go out of your way to represent your punjabi heritage tie a pagg, dont bother wearin a shirt with some funkyass logo on it of a skull wearin a pagg.
