Jatt

I think JAT stands for the word 'caste' or 'group' or something like that.

lol. i get what ure saying meistro. but what i tried to say was, JAT stands for the word caste or group and JATT stands for a certain caste. JAT i think would be pronounced JAAT with a soft T sound. does that clear up what i tried to say the first time or is it more confusing?

Jatt or Jat is a Type of Caste, there are others such as Saini and Ramgharia.

Heres a song that goes into last names of Jatt's

haha, i totally love this track, its a bit dated but i always like listening to it. It mentions mainly Malwa last names. he said he's working on one for Doaba's, cant wait to see what he says about Thiara's. haha

I think the first order of business here would actually be that it is "spelled" rather than "spelt."
