the reviews are so split..its crazy...some critics are in love, others found it dull..If it is dull, that is super disappointing..

ive seen it, and i liked it, though it wasn't what i was expecting

it was shot in digital, which made the fact that it was supposed to be a 1930's gangster movie kind of weird. Also the story jumps right into things without a lot of explanations to whats going on.

if you've seen the last few michael mann movies (miami vice, collateral) you'll know what im talking about, how those movies don't look like others.

what was weird is when i walked out i didnt like it as much, and then a few hours later i kind of liked it more.

lol wtf. what a british thing to say.

movie was sick. gun battle scenes were top notch, reminded me of heat (mann's other awesome movie). depp was charasmatic, good acting from everyone else. really cool.

I saw it and I thought it was pretty good.

The beginning was good, and towards the end was good as well.   There were some parts in the middle where the movie dulled down a little bit and got boring, but overall i really liked it.  Go see it
