With all the losses already this week, this probably isn't the most appropriate time to start this topic. But with overwhelming questions from new ventrilo users flooding my inbox, I had to go ahead and make everyone aware that BTF VENTRILO has officially been RETIRED. For those who contacted me wondering why "it's taking forever to connect", it's because it has nothing to connect to and I was forced to pull the plug on Ventrilo last month. I want to thank each and every one of you that made ventrilo such a success in the beginning. It was fun sharing laughs, songs, thoughts, and everything else with all of you. If it weren't for Ventrilo, a lot of you on this forum would still be nothing more than strangers to me. I'm glad I got the opportunity to meet some of you in person through Ventrilo! As some of you know, I was paying out of my own pocket to keep Ventrilo up and the decline in users in the last few months lead me to my decision. Once again, sorry for those who have been trying to join recently and thanks to all the "OG" vent users.

we all already tried to make a switch to oovoo a few months back and it failed ... theres just something about the simplicity of Vent that made it so great! =P
