anyone see anna hazare's response when he was told about what happened? made me and my family laugh so hard. ill post a vid of it if i can find it, i saw it on some hindi news channel on tv

go to :32 and he mentions Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji. Very interesting and reminds me of S. Bhagat Singh and his comrade B.K. Dutt, when they threw harmless bomb in the assembly and got themselves arrested. "it takes a loud voice to make the deaf hear"

And he also mentions he is not a terrorist. Just like how Congress labeled S. Bhagat Singh as a terrorist; doing something for their own country to make people's better makes you a terrorist?

I don't know how many people here follow Gandhigiri, but a question to all the intellects here:

By the way India's corruption is increasing and besides making it look good on paper, the way India is drowning in poverty (excluding the rich and wealthy) do you think we need more people like Anna Hazare who fast and wait or do we need more people like Harvinder Singh to get things moving more quickly?

We do not know what the consequences or the result will be, but I think the more the regular people get involved, something will be done faster.

It was only a matter of time before the "how can she slap" remix. Hell, I was thinking it as soon as I saw the video.

There's a brilliant saying that came from a B-grade Mithun Chakraborty revenge masala flick I watched a year ago to write a paper on. "Aajkaal, gundagiri aur netagiri dono ek hi baap ke do haraami aulaad hain." ("These days, politics and gangsterism are just two bastard sons of the same father.") I don't know much about the case of Sharad Pawar, but by all accounts, he's a particularly nasty character with some serious corruption allegations on his record, and it serves him right to have the crap slapped out of him. Still, I think those who are comparing the young man who slapped him to Bhagat Singh-ji are jumping to conclusions a bit quickly. It will be interesting to see what exact justifications and motivations come out when he stands trial (for some overblown charge, for certain).
