goes to show you that just like so many mid-east nations, just cuz theres a lot of money coming in...it doesn't make the country a "developed" one.

The thing is events like this are occurring every single day there, it's only now that Sikh medium are arising and Sikhs abroad are actually finding out about it. Otherwise, things like this are just suppressed. It's really sad to see...Don't see things changing anytime soon either unless Khalistan is ever made....
And the guys who call themselves 'Sikh' and are doing it to their own community sicken me. Badal deserves to be shot straight up and Manmohan Singh is a muppet.

this is the kind of stuff that needs to be shown to those deshbhakts that tout the up and coming international eminence of india. until it can resolve the rampant domestic issues that this video is merely a small taste of, it's going nowhere.

If u think the treatment of sikhs in india is bad, try kashmiri muslims, india treats kashmiris like dogs, everyday for decades...

A massacre is one thing, but systematic rape, torture and killings in kashmir have been occurring for decades...major violence against sikhs ended in the 80s, but major violence against kashmiris has not and will not, and no one gives a shit...i'm not trying to compare who has it worst or who is a bigger victim, i am just saying that too often indian people pretend like kashmiri people are doing just fine or that it's not a big deal...but it is, it's a damn shame...

Definitely man I get where you're coming from. Kashmir is overlooked and forgotten about all too often.
But when I said massacre I meant organized killings ie the torture rape and killings apply here too.


And major violence definitely didn't end in the 80s. It continued well into the 90s but that's what documentation states. In reality it continued after and the fake encounters, killings, tortures etc still happen today. The organized genocide of the Sikhs in 1984 though to the best of my knowledge is the one with the greatest no of fatalities out of all the 'riots'.


India just treats all its minorities like shit. Whilst the muslims in kashmir are treated bad, the problem with sikhs is more in the whole country and its legislation as opposed to one state.

Im gunna avoid the whole '84 talk just because of the fact that it hits wayy too close to home. Only thing im gunna say about this video is that a Sikh desecrating the very article of faith that he himself wears on another Sikh is just as wrong as someone from another religion doing the same thing. It doesn't matter if those guys committed a crime or not there's no reason to just take off their dastaar, we all have rights. If it was me I woulda fought those guys for my dastaar even if they beat the living shit out of me but I guess that's just the young patriotic side of me speaking...I hope this video makes out into the Indian media so maybe! some action could be taken against that hawaldaar


 It's a damn shame that the largest "democracy" in the world has things like this going on. If that happened over here a fucking whirlwind of protests and other forms of public outcries would have went down in an instant which further proves that in India, humans are worth less than insects. Worst part about this is, is that all the minorities in India wouldn't ever join sides with the other minorities to fight for their civil rights. How are you going to ask for civil rights and an end to corruption if your not willing to work alongside other PEOPLE fighting for the same cause?

Why can't we all just get along? (I know this sounds really ignorant... but it's still true.) Though we may have different cultures, foods, histories, religions, nations, languages,etc... we are all still human, are we not?
