This was posted before, we took it off for a bit ... but now we decided to post it again lol. There are a few hip hop songs, and some hip hop beats in the mix, this was at our school show and we wanted to appeal to the whole audience so we chose to do that. Feel free to leave feedback, Enjoy :)

very tough video to critique for obvious reasons.

It's obvious this was a highly edited video, and I think the audio is out of sync cause a lot of guys are off by a quarter beat (almost a half in some places). Mix was good though, and energy seemed hype good job. Would slow the mix in some sections just to give emphasis on moves vs. formations (5:55 almost did this but sped up too fast, people weren't keeping up)

From a technique standpoint, a lot of people's off arm either has elbow on their side, so the move looks small. Be sure to keep that non-moving hand high, usually at chest level.

From a mix standpoint, avoid random bass drops that don't drive a beat (~6:30 the 'long bass drop' gets cut short. yea, we all have that clip, and I've found it usually it doesn't sound too great on soundsystems so avoid it altogether if you can)

looked like you had fun, which was clearly the point

Also the video was not highly edited, we did that so the viewers can actually see our bhangra better because in the original video a lot of people were covering the camera so we got various clips from different angles and put that together, lol please don't think we did that to hide or tone down our mistakes. Thanks for the feedback bud :)

relax bro, it was a critique, he was giving u advice for all the things that he thought u needed to work on thats the whole point :)  n i think the obvious reasons part was cz it wasnt always the best angle to see everyone from, but i liked it as a whole you got a bunch of very capable dancers there, tbh its so early i was doing more listening to the mix to wake me up cz it was mad hype at times lol but good job and good morning (where i am anyway)

p.s. maybe next time try get someone to push everyone out of the way thats sitting down and stand infront haha.

hahha got me there! No I meant hard to critique cause I can't get a full view of formations but I can't really get individual dancers or nakhra either. And you're right that audience is covering a lot (which is expected).

I didn't mean highly edited in a bad way or that you're hiding anything... I just meant I can't tell if a sync issue is from an edit or the dance, ya dig? With 4-5 cuts somethings bound to get off a little bit

Great performance boys. I've seen older videos of u guys too that were posted on btf before, I was always impressed. The mix was hype, the performance was awesome, and I especially loved the slow fulka move for the Miss Pooja song. Keep up the good work :)

It was for our school's Vaisakhi Show. There is a lot of Punjabi people in our school, so the student council decided to hold the event in a Banquet Hall :)
