Khunde segment was a little messed up in formations because of the stage depth being 20 feet more than what the told us - that's our fault though, we should have realized. Oh well! It's always hard being a self taught team especially when you're all high schoolers. I remember when we first went to fusion I was the oldest dancer at 16, but the way gsimz lead us definitely helped us improve. Not sure if you're the captain, Sahil, but whoever it is is doing a great job because we were just about this level when we first started as well.

Its great to see bhangra in florida, especially at younger ages. Hopefully within the next year there will be this much passion throughout and not so spread out like it was when guardians started. This routine is definitely good and you guys have made major strides in the last 2 years! i expect that to continue. I loved the shikke segment and i loved some of the formations. Some of the dancers have SO much talent, and the enthusiasm is there across the board.

Here's one bit of advice... though it applies less now that youre all heading off to college, but is important nonetheless...

FUNDAMENTALS. too many sets on the circuit today focus on flash and jazz which ultimately is undermined by the simple fact that the dancing is mediocre at best. The teams that get the most respect on the circuit are the teams that have learned to dance (see NJ, SGPD) and THEN proceeded to add their flare... because they have mastered the basics, they can do the complex. Too many teams skip the concepts of grace and balanced execution and jump to creativity. So for the longevity of your team, and for the ability to progress smoothly as a team, you want to try to focus on mastering the basics. I'll use us as an example, particularly our very sloppy performance from the same night. the purpose of the set, which was relatively simple in my opinion, was to enable our newer dancers to work on their execution, work on their DANCING. I want the guys to execute the same, execute well, and learn how to dance correctly before i worry about creativity and gimmicks as much, because otherwise you never learned the sound basics. and its easier to miss those details when you go 12 or 16, so we went 8.

Bring it down to basics, and a creative routine becomes a creative dancing routine, and the actual BHANGRA skills you acquire will outlast any trends of gimmicks, and trends in styles, and give you the most longevity for your talent. That way, when you all go off to your colleges and you join an all guys team, coed team, or all girls team, with a west coast style, east coast style, a new style, WHATEVER... you're still a capable, and talented dancer. and to be honest, there is something to be said about a team that can execute punjabs, patake, and phumaniya perfectly.

You guys have come a VERY long way since you started!  ive watched videos since 2009 up until now and there is a drastic change in your dancing as individuals and as a team. Congrats cause all the hard work is paying off. Whatever school you guys go to as graduates, will definitely be the better for it. 

Clean up and honestly you guys should hit the circuit at a comp or two.  Love the creativity and ideas.  just work to clean up and you guys will be NASTYY.
