My boy from BMW, Kaser flower, made this mix for a perf. he put together...
Thought i'd suprise him by posting it cause i know its dope as hellll.

NO EQ, No transitions, you used my mix of batuaa, this is just a windows media player playlist as far as im concerned. Lets be a little conservative with the usage of the word "Insane"...then again i guess it does boggle my mind a little at how poorly this was made.

Relax guys lol.
I'm not sure if he tried to EQ it or not, but i didnt hear anything that sounded too horrible.
I thought he made the batuaa mix, but even still the rest was pretty dope for a first mix.
Transitions do need a little work, but the layering as well as song selection wasnt badd.

It's mixed and layered though, not seeing how it sounds like a wmp playlist.

okay i think that when people post mixes theres no need to bash on them. They tried to make a mix, whether its a sickk insane mix or a simple mashup of songs.

It might be a little overboard, but people in life are noted for being pricks...if this kid likes to mix a lot, hes going to run into more and more criticism. At least abhi gave him stuff to work on, which is all that anyone who wants to be good is going to get out of that post.

I see what you're saying, and maybe i'm harsh. I dunno, maybe thats the way i learned. When I posted one of my first mixes on a DJ/Producer board years back, i used to get the same harsh critiques. but it made me 10x better, and made me think and gave me concrete material to work with. Trust me, someone pointing on that ur snare hit is off level at 1:02 is appreciated just as much, if not more, than a Good Job or great work.

I like to post my opinion on music, because I have an interest in that. Sometimes I can be harsh, sometimes I can be nice. Its sad though, because I've been seeing loads and loads of mixes come out...and a lot of it is just not good, but its just being pumped up by being good because everyone who knows the kid is like oh yeah sick mix. Quality is quality...and to get to that quality you have to be held to a higher standard.

I'm more than happy to help anyone out whose trying to learn...but sometimes learning the hard way is the best way.
