first question: whyd sgpd pull out of idols?

pretty entertaining routine overall, i dont know if anyone else feels this way, but it didnt seem to have any crazy 'wow' factor like other routines (masti, avap). the lollipop seg was def sick, other than that energy seemed to be a bit lower than what were used to. u guys definitely took it to the next level creativity wise (formations and just adding a different spin to certain moves), congrats on pulling it off. i prob sound like a debbie downer, but i liked the old vardi's better haha.

the formation change from nachna aounda nehi to punjab diya gallan was killllerrr, i almost thought more dancers were coming out from backstage. jhummer segment was solid and again mad creative, anyone know the song?

Because they're gonna be attending Parma's funeral which is on Saturday(tommorrow) so they're going back to Toronto.

loved the footwork in nehriyan
and the split V at 4:00

huge amounts of movement, i wonder how it looked from ground floor.  I think SGPD really benefits when judges are in front row of balcony(which is where they should be to get proper view)
excellent movementst at like 7:30, sgpd continues to innovate. not all of them probably translate well to teh audience, but most of them do.  Well done guys!

I like the new vardiyan a lot better than their old ones.  I initially wasn't too impressed but the front view of the performance looks a lot better than the 2 videos posted previously.  Definitely creative performance the jugni formation was sick, phumaniyan were interesting, but I didn't really like having the singer in the middle of the mela scene but the mela scene as a whole was nice, & crazy formations most of which worked out nicely.

I don't think it was SGPD's best performance, but it was still solid. I originally made a comment about cleanliness, but for the most part, it looks cleaner from the front.  One big thing though the uniformity in your dancers execution was a little less than what I'm used to seeing from you guys (set the bar high with your previous performances). But very creative and entertaining. Loved the mela scene. It was the first comp of the season, so I'm sure SGPD's best is yet to come.

For those who are wondering, the jhummer track is Prabhjit Singh- Goriye....attached.

Yeah, I agree a lot with Vijay in that it was a great routine but it almost felt like there was a little something missing in the routine compared to previous ones but you guys have the set the bar so high this performance is still really good. Also, excuse me for sounding dumb but where exactly is the lollipop segment? I've watched the vid a few times and I've missed it I guess.

The set was creative as hell, I liked the jumping jack saap move thingy haha and the mela was sick. Gaurav is such a sick singer, and even though it was kinda different I thought it was a nice idea to have him in the middle creativity-wise. Though, I also kinda like the old vardiyaan better but oh well. It was weird though because it seemed as if there were a lot more than the usual 12 people onstage. It looked more like 16 for some reason, I dunno.

But yeah Meistro, good job with the multiple views video, and the editing was actually pretty good but I personally liked the balcony view in the second video a lot better because it really helped showcase the formations which is another thing I really liked about this performance.

thanks for the comments on my video editing guys.......This was my favorite SGPD routine by far. Jhummar was lacking; I wasn't really feeling it. However, I felt a lot of energy from their other segments. Jugni segment was deadly, kato segment was amazing, loved the saap segment with the jumping jack feet, khunda segment was very good. I felt the mela scene and the intro were very strong and crowd engaging. I think this performance was more folk than their other ones. Only thing they needed to work on was stamina as well as cleanliness. I felt like the energy levels were different for all of the dancers at different points of the dance. At one point one guy wouild be going all out crazy while others were at lower energy levels. One guy I noticed specifically was the one of the guys out of the blue jodi, he was a bit out of control at times and it made him stand out. Otherwise, congrats to SGPD on a solid performance. I really enjoyed it and they have definately stepped it up in my book, despite the lack of cleanliness and stamina.
