For the most part-really enjoyable set.  I liked it.  Dropping babies part at 2:52 = sexy.  Loved the song selection-and also liked that it wasn't pitched up or sped up like so many other mixes out there.  You kept it basic, and kept it sexy.

I'd say your biggest problem would be spacing.  The props segments-spacing was a little off.  And there's also a few points where there were people dancing off the stage.  When you guys were moving in a circle, there was a large gap while it was moving.

Swag is for boys.  Class is for men.

great performance, very fun to watch, folk to the max with creative formations, loved the choreo
it was set up like a live set, jhummar right after sapps and khunde, fast jhummar after...and so on and so forth,
even from this distance it was apparent that the individual dancers were good,
great execution of the moves, and great energy throughout the set
singer was sick, did one of my favorite shers, mix was very entertaining as well
stage looked good for 8 guys, but i might have kept some of the formations even tighter, especially the circles

besides some of the obvious mistakes in execution, you have to nail that first spin when you come out with sapps
you guys put two aandey/jeonna mohrs in the set (one with sapps, then another full one with khunde)
jhummar was beautiful, great execution, just a little long in perspective, over a minute (set was under 8 minute set with sher and mela included)
loved the move at 7:04
red jhodi had great nakhre (killed the jugni an phumanian)
yellow jodi great energy (killed chaffa/jindua at the end, and the exit as well)

who was the dholi?

who was the dholi?

One of our dancers who couldn't dance played the dhol this time bro, his name's Farhan Hafeez.

A big issue we had was that the volume was too low on the stage and we couldn't hear it at all, which kept throwing the dancers and the dholi off at some points in the routine. Part of the reason why the beginning spins with sapps looked off was due to the music being low. Other than that, the stage is great for a traditional 8 man set.

Thanks for the support and criticisms thus far. And I will post the mix up at some point, but we might be using it for another comp so it may not happen too soon.

Also, I'd like to give a hugee shoutout to all the Heeray boys for such a great weekend, esp Navdeep for all the help with our paggan. Congrats to all the teams that placed, and hopefully see everyone at a future comp!

o brother.

this is the BEST 8 man music routine I've seen come out of NA in 2009. True, it is still early in the season but you guys have left most of the all guy teams in the dust with this new set. I feel, that this kinda set will give any good team a run for their money (if you have legit judges). Comparing this to your last performance, it's evident that you guys put in the hard work as everyones energy and overall execution has improved since DDA & Triple Threat.

choreo is innovative (yet folk) and execution is sick.
high points:
- saaps at 2:10. energetic yet clean
- the bit at 2:22
- jhummer was tite
- the bit starting from 5:49 (dholi was good)
- luddi segment
- song selection in general

here are some suggestions/areas for improvements:
- spacing in formations. like hmalhi & campy said, make them tighter. In the beginning a few peeps were off (not just spins but formations), at 5:09 the circle looked bad, at 6:04 (green jodi off stage) and at 6:18 i felt bad for the yellow guy (he had enough time backstage to grab a quick drink)
- end song was too short. if u notice the crowd gets pumped but u guys just exit, maybe extend the energetic bhangra in the end.
- need to kick off meistro, he is bringing down ur team and holding u guys back. plus theres no place in bhangra for half-europeans

+10000...haahahha

Most has already been said, I will say this....all of your dancers have very good form and extension on all the moves you do...you can tell that you guys pay attention to detail...I enjoyed it, I thinkk probably the two biggest things for me, and as Waldo has already mentioned...is the spacing during some of the formations...there were gaps, I can see how it is difficult with 8 man, but if you set and hit your markers, you should be good to go....the other big thing for me was the end...extend the end with more HEATT...you guys had the audience goin there and then u just kinda go..."alright we're done..gooodnight" hahha.....just make it longer...figure out how to end with a longer segment and sustain the energy level as is.

When I saw the set for the first time, at y'alls practice, I loved it, I thought it was something different and choreo was creative, it stood out to me from all the different sets we see for all guys teams.

Very clean performance, it was smooth and very 'together.'  As people mentioned, the formations need some work in terms of spacing, but that's easily fixable...and up the energy a little more and it'll be awesome.

Personally, I like the mix, but I thought it was a tad slow...? But nonetheless, still loved the set.

GO GREEN!

Woohoooo!
