Lol it was nuts!!!! This competition overall was a great experience and shout out to the nypd boys for doing the nasty on stage, you boys ripped it. Shoutout to gsimz and my brothers from furteelay for putting on an amazing performance for their hometown crowd and for coming thru with the vardiyan last minute, love you guys and Shoutout to my man Sueee for coming thru as woodyOverall it was a great weekend and a solid lineup at motor city. The performances were great, but in my opinion Furteelay's set was fire. It should of placed, but congrats to NJ, DCMPAA, and NYPD. Shout out to Nishani and the whole motor city crew for being so hospitable and hosting a great comp. The clarion hotel must hate desi people after this past weekend![]()
I heard what went down in the hotel after the after party.![]()

also just a quick note- the folks at R2B2 in Houston will probably contest your "first competition in Texas" claim
It's funny that teams like empire make sets and re-use them to win more than one comp, no originality and respect for different competitions...I say this because teams like NYPD, who probably could have won every comp with their elite 8 routine will never do the same routine on stage again.its not disrespectful to the competition if they bring the same set to their competition. for the teams, its all about winning the first place trophy and if their set allows them to do that, why not re-use it. i mean look at cal for example, they used the same set for like a string of 5 different competitions and changed it up slightly for each competition because they really didn't have time to make a new set and get it down perfectly AND because the set that they had was fire. again, for the teams, its all about winning, not about the respect for the competition. if cal had made a new set, it may have been a better set, but they would be sloppy as hell on that stage. instead of doing this, they perfected their original set and placed four times in a row.
Im just saying, routines made and performed for a specific comp shouldnt be re-used...its not illegal..LOL..but I just think you should present something more during your next comp.
compare our RPVD and Blowout videos, different sets. And nah, its not "all about winning", I cherish the memories Ive made with my team more than any number of trophies. Thanx for the love.
Just watched GTV version. Just wasn't the same without Arjun every 30 seconds. In fact, I missed his SFX so much, I plan on mixing with them in the near future![]()
I love how you guys transitioned from 8 guys to 12 guys early this year but you guys got SIGNIFICANTLY cleaner with the latter even with more people. Nasty set. The ending gimmick wasn't as impressive to me as the overall cleanliness of the routine that stayed consistent throughout the entire routine. One thing that I really like is that your choreography brings out the talent and stage presence of your dancers and isnt focused on doing tricks. I loved the intro video to dancing quick start and the ending gimmick was an amazing way to end as well. (Gabroo Punjabis part was off and seemed like something that could have been fixed). I agree with Faizan that the vardii change takes way too long and either needs to be sold better or cut. I think the next stage for your team should be the bring the dancing caliber of the overall team up higher as a unit. You guys dance as a team, but as a team, the energy needs to go up to truly show how coordinated you guys are. Also, Harman needs to lift his legs higher haha![]()
if this didn't place then i'm really curious to see the other team's videos. so much energy and such a sick set (especially saap segment)
constructive criticism and critiques are always welcome![]()
Idk if its by coincidence or not, but the fact that the dancers start doing baitkha as the main line starts....lmao.
We had a "hella" good time.
