Hey y'all!
Blue Flame Productions, Dallas' Premier Dance Company, is starting a Junior Bhangra Team for ages 12 and up!
We are holding auditions on Sunday, July 29th from 6-8pm.
I know everyone on this forum is older most likely, but I bet you have a niece/nephew/cousin etc. in Dallas...
Hey y'all
So I'm affiliated with Raas Nationals and just wanted to share the way we do our judging. I think it's one of the best systems out there.
So we have 9 judges and we split them into 3 categories: Choreography, Execution, Artistic Elements (3 judges per category).

So, this is something thats been on my mind for a while now.
When choosing the lineup for your comp, is it okay to take other (non dance related) factors into account?
I of course want the highest caliber of applicants to make it through to the final lineup, but sometimes I feel that it's...

What do y'all think of a competition that reserves a spot for new teams?
What constitutes new?
A newly formed team in which 70% of the members have not competed (together?) in the past year.
I'm totally open to a different/better definition. This one still needs development.
I can see...
Hey guys!
I need a Dholi in the Dallas area, this Friday from 10am-3pm for a very special event. If anyone is interested, email sidra.anees@gmail.com for details! Thanks!!
I'm also curious about this. I personally think that discussion is necessary- especially if all the judges are not in unanimous agreement about who should win. However, I can also see the other side where one more aggresive judge can sway all the others. I'd like to hear what the majority...
Hey guys !
