- When Donovan McNabb was the QB for Eagles, all the folks in Philly hated him, just cos he's black!!! N' its a fact!!!

- Who the hell is "kevin kolb" wtf!!! Michael Vick is the real deal!!! ;D so how can you bench him over kevin kolb??? ???

- Yeah it's definitely not the fact that Philly is a bunch of racist [profane] fans who booed out of town a QB who led them to the top of the league every year then threw a massive contract at an untested QB from a college with a gimmick offense. I detest what Vick did to those dogs, but he is a great talent and people like Reid who are fat old walruses would rather go with "their guy", whatever that ACTUALLY means.

You have no idea what you're talking about. McNabb was booed because of the hype surrounding Ricky Williams at that draft (plus Eagles fans learn to boo before learning to talk).

Kevin Kolb was a very capable backup last year and is a more viable long term solution than Vick who has taken 2 years to learn the very basics of this often offense (he was not very effective in backup roles last year).


Should vick start? Yes, that's pretty clear at this point...but moving Vick means changing a lot of their gameplan, something Reid is notorious for avoidign. Took a real serious injury to Kolb to get Vick in, now we'll see if he can hold the spot.

lol. honestly speaking, i really have no idea of what i'm talking about....i'm just letting my emotions out thats all. First of all, i'm not a Eagles fan at all, 49ers for life ;D , however, i'm a Mike Vick fan N' i waited long enough to finally see him play and do a great job on the feild . N' abt the booing crap....lol....philly fans always hated "McNabb"...you know it N i know it and everyone else knows it!!! they just don't like black QB's at all!!!

I rather see VICK on the feild rather than some random ass white guy!!! :

they let go of mcnabb that way kolb can fully develop into the qb of their future,kolb gets hurts and vick steps and does good which means now they have a very valuable trade piece in vick

i respect what all you are saying....i mean just like me...all of you have your own opinions....and thats not bad at all. N' i know VICK is okay being a back-up. How can he not be okay.....out of like 25+ teams.....only few teams had interest in him...but in the end, it was only PHILLY that gave him a chance when he was nothing!!! he's happy being part of NFL !!! but i rather see him starting for philly...rather than watch kevin kolb!!! oo well, lets see how it goes for with the eagles ???

Dude, kevin kolb played half a game. Relax, i'm not saying hes gonna be a boss, but unless you know more than the entire Eagles administration and coaching staff, and what their goals for their team/direction they want to go is, no need to hate on them for putting ANYONE they want at quarterback. Theres a significant reason for having kolb, perhaps a style of play they believe will be MORE effective than the gutsy play of vick. And who knows, maybe it will be. Vick did just earn alot of his lost respect back, however, from a great majority of the league.
