Looking forward to the future of Panjab, I don't see any hope soon. With continual corruption, and all the social issues that Panjabis face (i.e. alcoholism, domestic violence, female fetocide and infanticide, alarming drug use, farmer suicide etc etc), the state is literally doomed.
I hate to be a cynic but this just seems to be a trend. Sure people say that Panjab and India are becoming more developed and advanced, but this is just a thin curtain of wealth that is hiding all the pain and poverty.
