well the new iphone just came out today, i was following its launch
3g is an improvement in speed
push/exchange email support, enterprise support
integration with calendar, outlook, etc
included true GPS (not wifi or cell triangulation)
cheaper than before, $200 for 8 gigs, $300 for 16 gigs

i would stay away from Treos, not really reliable, can break easily and the new version are slower than the older versions

Yea I heard about the new iphone being released... Only if the iphone ran windows mobile OS on it, it would be the ideal phone... I was reading up on the samsung i760, lots of good reviews... anyone have it?

I have a Blackberry Pearl 8130. It's my first smartphone. I'm NEVER going back. Holy shit Blackberry's are amazing. Get a blackberry..or at least look into it for sure ;D

There's speculation about a touchscreen blackberry called Thunder coming out soon. It's supposed to rival the iPhone. You might wanna look into that bad boy too.

i like the iphone interface, the typing is not perfect and it's missing some things which i find are ridiculous (MMS, *copy paste* wtf?), but with 3g speeds, built-in GPS!, lots of 3rd party support, exchange/push suport i am favoring it :)

Yea the only reason I want windows mobile is because I can watch my slingbox through it. Theres nothing better than driving down the interstate watching your local sports live in any state, anywhere at anytime. I just can't get over that. I have the slingbox running on my laptop, and its freakin amazing, having it on the go will be godly...

What??? Right now it's the alpha version and Apple doesn't officially endorse it... I also think it's against Att's policy to add streaming video apps to your phone or something like that. Verizon puts a 5gb download limit on your data plans which I think is gay... Steve Jobs needs to let Sling come aboard and he'll have another customer... How hard is it to unlock an Iphone? I'm no genius when it comes to these things, but can any idiot do it reading a few directions? Anyone here using the Iphone on another carrier(i.e. verizon, sprint, etccc)?
