Sup dudes and dudettes,

Anyone interested in taking bhangra classes in Manhattan? Here is your chance!

I am a former leading member of NYU Bhangra, NYU Pandemonium, Three Rivers Bhangra, and NYC Jugni. I have decided to teach a bhangra class at a studio in the East Village. This message is to tell everyone about the class in the hopes of getting students.

I have officially reserved the space so now I am trying to advertise as much as possible. So please spread the word!

The course will begin on Saturday, November 1st (I will update this post when the date is finalized), and lasts 8 weeks, after which I will begin a new cycle. Classes will be held once a week, for one hour, on Saturdays at 4:00 pm. The price is $15 per session. Males and females of all ages are welcome. No experience is required.

If you are interested, please let me know by emailing me at the below address. Thanks and hope to see some of you soon...

I actually taught in NYC two summers ago when I was working there over the summer. I'd rent out a dance studio and charge similar amounts-- I'd suggest creating a multi-session package, say 6 sessions for 80 bucks or something. It works really well, and the demand is definitely there.

If you want, message me and I'll send you the contacts of the people who I taught..maybe they'll be interested in picking it up again. I'll intro you

I'd also suggest contacting the local indian dance agencies to spread the word; worked for me.

Good luck!
