Especially after baitkan, my calves hurt extremely bad. I do stretch and everything, too. Anyone know causes/remedies?

A lot of people use compression wraps/compression sleeves, so those might help.

Also, try giving yourself a few days off in between doing "100baitkan" (nice username ;) ) for your calf muscles to recover. The last thing you want is a severe calf strain that causes your muscle fibers to tear.

I'm no doctor, but during those days of rest/recovery, you can use any products that contain the ingredient methyl salicylate (wintergreen oil) - which causes your capillaries to dilate and allows your blood to flow to areas of your body where it's rubbed in. Products include Bengay, IcyHot, Tiger Blam, Bio Freeze, etc.

Hope this helps,

~ Basim :)

Do you have flat feet? If you do - your calf will hurt quite a bit after squats especially if you have tight calves. Source: I have flat feet.
Like the people above, rolling and sleeves help a lot.
