Carrol for 35 mil is a bit ridiculous... John Henry made some great moves with the Sox this off-season picking up Gonzalez and Crawford but the man is just making it rain out in the premier league. Getting rid of Torres for 50 is legit, dude's not worth that much at all now but doesn't mean you go out and spend almost all of that on someone who you could've bought for 25 max, had the window not been coming to a close I doubt this transfer woulda gone down in this ludicrous manner. Seems like a panic move to me, lets see how carrol and suarez work out.
