Compress File Size of Music

So I'm trying to make a bhangra CD for my cousin, and I'm using a bunch of team mixes but the sizes of those files are all like 10 MB and higher. Is there any good program or (a more preferable) option online for me to compress the file sizes without ruining the quality of the songs too much?

i thought cd's go based on time, not size? if im wrong, then m4a is prob the smallest format. though idk if cd's work w m4a. im assuming ur songs aree in mp3 already so your prob gonna be at ur smallest size. dl a sound converter andn u'll be set. I'd suggest the program called switch. it gets the job done and its a freeware

yea CDs are all converted into cda format and then placed onto the disc at standard cd quality (I believe 160 kbps with 44khZ), so it's based purely on time if you're using standard audio files (which you probably are if you have team mixes)

as for compressing files, the best is to download audacity. It's a free program, it's very small and fast.

Oh ok cool thanks everyone. I'm burning a CD using Itunes and I dunno, I always thought it was more so based on MB because I believe that a lot of the time I wouldn't reach the time limit that the CD can hold but I would still have remove songs before the CD could be burned.
