Hi BTF!

@Amanda Pathmanathan, @srazdan, and I would like to present Cornell Bhangra’s 4 competitive performances from this season. With our performance at Blowout this past weekend, we have ended our 2-year tenure as captains and feel extremely proud and privileged to have had the opportunity to influence and shape Cornell Bhangra into the competitive force it is today. We are excited to see how Cornell's future captains carry this momentum forward.

Burgh:
This marked our first GTV comp since Big 10. After receiving judges' feedback, we placed 5th overall and focused on revamping our saaps, mirza, and general bhangra segment.

Mela:
This performance marked Cornell's first performance on Mela stage. According to judges' comments we placed 4th with a narrow margin between us and the placing teams. Thank you to our dancers for coming back early from their winter break to come prep and kill it at this comp.

ECS:
A week after Mela, we focused on cleaning our team’s execution and were rewarded with our team’s first placing in 4 years. (Updated with the official video)

Blowout:
After ECS, we wanted to take risks with our set-construction and tried to bring unique, fresh ideas to Blowout stage. From ECS we only retained 2 segments and created the rest of the set in the 2 weeks leading up to Blowout (right after our team hosted @Pao Bhangra). Due to the time constraint, we weren’t able to make the set as cohesive and clean as we would’ve liked, but we were proud to bring something new to Blowout. We placed 6th overall. Thank you to our dancers who sacrificed their spring break to stay in lovely Ithaca and practice for Blowout. (Waiting on the official video)

Congrats to all the teams that competed and placed at these incredible competitions. We are honored to have shared the stage with you (except Illini. Jk we love you, just find a new logo pls).

Thank you:
@PablaMix: For making our Burgh, Mela, and ECS mixes. You always bring sick ideas and a banging mix.
DJ Baaj: For helping with our Blowout mix
DJ Swiss Cheesy: For helping with our Blowout mix and making a dope end song. We’re excited to see what you come up with in the future.
Yohan: For making our dope intro videos and backdrop for blowout.
Tejasvir: For the help in ordering our orange costume.
HSA Props: For our new khunde.
Thank you to all the Directors, committees, and liaisons we had throughout the year. Each comp found a way to raise the bar and made our comp experiences unforgettable.

Special shoutout to Dhir Patwa and @Howie Magz for your feedback between comps. It really pushed us to rethink our ideas and bring something original that hits hard.

We’re always about that grind and want to give our future captains, @Rithesh Neelamagam and @Nikhita Sundaram, some help to continue improving, so please drop some feedback on any of our sets.

Thank you Cornell Bhangra for an incredible 4 years. We, as captains and individuals, have grown so much and could not be more grateful for the opportunities we’ve had.

Signing off for the last time as captains,
Sonali, Amanda, and Samir
