What’s good BTF Community?

I made a mix to play at a wedding (I will be performing)
Go ahead and tear it apart, give me all the feedback you can!!!

Also, are there any songs that you would recommend?

Thanks in advance
P.S. This is my first mix which is why it’s pretty bad and has a lot of room for improvement :)

I hope you are not charging for your services the transitions are really sloppy and at some points just ruins the entire flow of the mix. You should try redoing a lot of your transitions so it comes together more smoothly

This is all up to you and your experience as a mixer, as you make more mixes, listen to more mixes, the more diff types of transitions you'll learn.

I like the song choices, very upbeat and danceable. Aside from the transitions, you're on the right track. Nice first mix for a beginner mixer. I like the jatt pagal karteh part. shit's rowdy!! lol

Rather than using disc scratching effects and such for transitions, try using reverse cymbals, swooshes, laser buildups, things of that nature

A trick i use to transition sometimes is to beatmap the songs, then just play a without vocals and try to align the beats with the other song. From there just regular fading and cymbals would help.

What program are you using to mix? This could greatly affect help with transitions.

Not bad in individual segments. Vocals really get lost at parts, which is not a good thing lol. Also there is an over-reliance in effects. What did you master - this sounds really airy.

I used Acid Pro 7
Try using tempo markers to ease together transitions and not just some stop and go.
