i researched this over and over...and teh overall answer is, no.
but, theres a program that uses some algorithms to do it but it doesnt come out 100% perfect...but heres the link:

i dont need it to be like a perfect acapella, i just need the background music a lil lower so i dont hear it when i put a beat on it, i dont mind if yuh can styll hear a lil bit of the music.

isnt there a way to do it on audacity or sound forge?

audacity does opposite. takes away vocals. from the peeps i've talked to, you need to be in a class A studio to be able to make an acapella of a song, or just take the vocal recording.

i can do it... what track u want it done to? its kind of a secret i like to keep to myself, i wont lie. far from perfect, but can do more than u need for lacing vocals over a stronger beat.
