• Greg Williams suspended indefinitely.
• GM suspended 8 games.
• Saints lose 2nd rounders in 2012 and 2013 drafts.

Personally, I think Peyton got off way too easily. Him and Williams are grimy POS and should be thrown out permanently. Anyone who advocates incentives for injuring other players is pure scum. Especially after I heard how Williams would give out the most to whomever got Favre to be carted off the field. The dollar penalty was too low and the draft picks should've been 1st rounders.

the NFL is a joke when it comes down this kinda of stuff. They dont care about the players or other. They just was the $$ to roll in. They should ban Sean and everyone involved (even the players) from the NFL.

Personally, i think a year suspension is enough for Sean. Financially he is set to lose 7 million dollars. When the game is taken from you completely (no player or front office contact), it hits you hard, especially when that is all you have as a career choice. Only way I kind of see him being any part of the game, is signing on with the likes NBC, CBS, or ESPN as a commentator for a season, but that is it.

And 500K was fined to the Saints organization, as well as another 500K to GM Mickey Loomis. I personally think the GM should get the bigger hit, a tougher punishment, such as Indefinite suspension just like Greg Williams and at least a 1 Million dollar fine, if not more.

And as for the draft picks, 2012 and 2013 2nd round picks only? WTF!!!!! I would say 2012 rounds 1-7 and 2013 rounds 1-4 or something along those lines.

Question: How do you even suspend a General Manager? Isn’t most of his work done assembling the roster prior to the beginning of the season? I’m not sure how that is going to work. If they wanted the suspension to mean anything, it should have run from now through September, when the GMs do their work. What does a GM even do in season that an 8 game suspension will mean anything?

Yeah I guess its more of a lesson to him(i can only imagine how much money he'll lose). Even if they suspended Mickey for a year, they have a number of people to take over who've been around for a very long time. A lot of these punishments are for the individual themselves for allowing the bounty system to prevail and wont affect the team as much since the staff has had such a long history together. The only real blow to the Saints are the draft picks since they traded their first rounder to the Pats and now lost two second rounders in two drafts.
