Alright so heres the problem.

After I install some updates that windows wants me to install, the internet on my laptop starts to run extremely slow. It takes about a minute to load a page on BTF! We all know thats hell for us.

This has happened in the past, and I ignore it and just format the entire laptop, but I don't want to do that everytime. I'm not to sure which update it is, but it might be some service pack or something.

Has this happened to anyone before?
Or does someone know how to fix it. Its so annoying:S

bro what you are describing is almost definitely a case of spyware

i recommend these 2 sites ... i suffered from the same prob and ran both of these programs and had great success

Spybot Search and Destroy (download link) : http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html

also try this, worked for me

Trendmicro Housecall (scans spyware online, no download needed) : http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

if those 2 don't improve performance, looks like a reformat is in store for you

p.s. - if your case is eventually solved, i recommend you keep Spybot S&D anyways and update it weekly and run it once a week as well ... one hell of a great free program

AVG's pretty legit too
AVG is one of the best ones but its like an overall anti-virus/spyware/malware and everything else
it doesnt focus only on one thing, that is why spy sweeper and spybot are the best ones, in mah opinion
