For those that aren't familiar: https://www.cnbc.com/2019/02/27/india-pakistan-air-strike-claims-what-you-need-to-know.html

It's a scary situation. After not having a chance to visit her home country for nine years, my mother actually was in route to the capital city of Islamabad, Pakistan just yesterday and has been grounded in Istanbul, Turkey (she flew Turkish Airlines) due to the conflict. Airspace has been shut down for many airports in India and Pakistan.

Just as we thought things were calmed down and officials worked toward peace, this happens. 2019 being an election year in India might have a lot to do with it - the prime minister wanting to gain popularity and create fear. It's sad that there are millions of people having to live in fear due to government/bureaucratic powers trying to one up each other. Prayers to the people that are living through this.

Discuss civilly,

Pakistan is going to release the Indian pilot they captured, so seems situation is de-escalating. In any case, this whole situation seems weird and just for political reasons. Both sides are exaggerating, truth is hard to come by.
