learning to play and tune the dhad

hi guys... ok so there are like a million vids and online sources about the dhol, but i got a dhad when i last went to amritsar and its like...i havent been able to learn. Ive seen dhadis doing it in gurudwara but i cant get down de tu-tu-tui sound lol


if any of you guys have videos or have one...lemme know!!!!

Yeah i need help n this too. I play a lot of percussion instruments but i cant get the finger work on this one down. I can make the 'woop woop' sound with the beat somewhat but cant keep it going cuz im obvioulsy not playing it correctly.

Any help?!

ya, hopefully someone makes good tutorial soon, cuz i also wanna learn how to play it.

for my new BMW mix, im using dhad samples from Joti Dhillon and Nav Sarao.

well, its been 5 days since somebody said hell do the video tomorrow lol.... so i doubt we will learn... lol

i just love the sound. But if u got already the samples for ur mix then...u dont need to learn. I think i might have a dhad thingy. if u want it lemme know....though i got it from here so u might aswell have it too
