looking to buy new speakers

[Sonuu]

okay so my speakers blew out and im looking to buy a new set. basically im looking for something thats a 2.1 set (2 speakers and a sub)...

i dont want anything fancy because im gonna be taking them back and forth to practices and whatnot and i dont wanna break a real nice set of speakers that i paid a lot of money for...

so all in all im looking for a set of 2.1 speakers for my computer that are essentially recession status... whats the best i can get? any ideas?

get a pair of logitech's or creative's at best buy, if your looking for something to travel with you don't need to do much research, just get a system which isn't too heavy and is either logitech or creative

Here is a set of 2.1 speakers from Newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007679%20600010683&IsNodeId=1&name=2.1

they are in the price range of $25 - $300 including shipping. I don't know how much your budget it but I would recommend getting either Logitech or Creative as I've had good Experience with both. I have Logitech for my Room and used creative for practice. Gotta admit they are very durable and lasted us over 3 years and still going strong.

If you're going to be going back and forth between places I'd recommend a set of 2.0 speakers. The Klipsch promedia 2.0 are great and they have more bass than a lot of 2.1 setups so you won't miss your sub. M-Audio also has a nice collection of 2.0 monitors.

If it is truely 2.1 that you want, then something cheap from logitech won't hurt.
