Making a mix for beginners

I need to make a mix
does anyone know how or what to use? and where i can get it?
i heard 99% of people use acid pro but that costs $299.
does anyone know if its possible to download some software that will let me make mixes?

-.-, did you use the search bar at all? There are so many threads like this. Im pretty sure theres a thread thats been stickied about ACID.

the easiest way.....
get two tape decks. put cassette with desired song in deck A. put cassette with desired mix-in song in deck B. play A, and only hold down the play button for B enough that the tempo matches A. fucking presto - remix champion.
