Do you guys remember in the beginning of Jelly's Goli he uses the folk boli 'DAM DAM KHAIR KARE RAB TERI MANGAN SAJAN MAIN ROZ DUAWAN'? I was listening to a version of Nit Khair Manga and Nusrat spit that boli and I wondered for a minute what if he sang boliyan. I was high.

I feel there's a raw, pure devotionalism in his voice...which is one of the reasons why he's probably one of my favorite singers...and his vocal range is just wow...

my fav of his is probably Sanu Ik Pal...

Cool fact, his younger brother Farrukh (Rahat's dad) wrote the lyrics to the qawwali and composed it.

Nusrat is probably the best Punjabi Qawwal we have ever had the opportunity of seeing.
