Big fan of a Folk set brought to Elite with several gimmicks which tends to please the judges with several "Wow" factors. Really creative set and liked the start of Jhummar.

I think what hurt you the most was cleaniness of the rountine and going 16 dancers, mistakes are bound to happen. Keep your heads high as I see a definate improvement since VPD 2011.

appreciate the comments on the mix guys, it was made quick but a lot of thought went into the song selection, from the team, aaron and me.. we may have changed our swag a bit compared to previous sets in terms of dancing to keep up with the bhangra trends but our music will always be traditional and lyrically connected to the bhangra culture as much as possible, and that will never change. Can't think of an all male team that wouldn't want to dance to lyrics like "akhan chariyan muchan kariyan" and classic bangers like chamkaur khattras velli

it was brutal making this mix last minute but if the audience enjoyed it, it was worth it.


to the team, on a serious note: goodjob NYPD boys, I'm proud of you guys.. I was there when you guys started out and Ima jam with you nigas til the end, it was a great experience seeing you guys transform from young ambitious highschoolers to the men you are today and its something I cherish. Although this is my last mix for a while, you guys deserve great things and I'll always be NYPD. Now pass the jundi 8)
