Someone sent this to me in an email today. It's a letter from the sikh coalition trying to convince Obama to visit Amritsar during his trip to India. I don't really agree with the whole idea of sending a letter, I know it would raise awareness for sikhism if he ended up visiting, but I just don't think we should have to convince Obama to have to visit harmandir sahib, especially after him asking to wear a hat instead of a rumal. The letter sounds kind of like a sales pitch almost, relating the doctrine of sikhism to the U.S. constitution.
