I'm on the second episode of the new sci-fi show The Expanse and noticed four punjabi songs being played in the background so far.
The first episode had these two songs:

It freaked me out at first hearing the songs in the background of an american tv show, i thought i might have something running in the background. But it's pretty cool that punjabi music is being used in mainstream english shows.
Other notable punjabi easter eggs in american shows:
John Doe (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Doe_%28TV_series%29): Punjabi letters painted on the wall of a bar the main character goes to regularly.
Prison Break Season 3 Episode 3: Episode ends with dhol music playing while mahone is going through withdrawal.
