If Czech dove other direction Messi wouldnt have missed. Czech read Messi, so Messi tried to upper-90 the shot, which is tough.

My prediction comes true. Chelsea vs Bayern. Couldn't be happier to see these two teams in the CL final.

I'm so sick of the two Spanish teams dominating everything and being praised as the best two teams in the world. Yes they play amazing football, but I think that's due to the league they play in. They'd drop a lot more points if they were to play in the premiership or bundesliga.
This CL final shows that other teams from other leagues are more than capable of beating madrid and barca with the correct tactics and style of play.

on a side note...COME ON UNITEDDDDD!!

The penalty kicks were just hilarious.
Ronaldo and Kaka kicked in the same lame ass spot. Mourinho's expressions were priceless
And then Sergio Ramos's miss topped it all. He was aimin for some guy in the crowd .. hahaha

madrid made the same mistake chelsea made in the champions league final allowing john terry to take the penalty kick that couldve won the game. why did ramos take that kick when oezil, benzema, etc. were all better equipped to take the penalty kick. just because a player practices it doesnt mean they are ready to put the fate of the season on their shoulders. ramos shouldnt have taken that kick.
but bayern really barcelona-ed madrid that game. they had control the entire time. i think bayern will definately outplay chelsea in the final but the final outcome could go either way. but as fernando torres put it, the better team doesn't always win.
but def one of the most exciting semi finals

heart wrenching loss for bayern today. looks like the whole "destiny" theme stayed true to chelsea. as a diehard bayern fan, all i know is something wasn't right with munich ... the players showed nerves when taking critical shots even before the penalties. if there was a rematch, chelsea wouldn't last. hope we make it back to the big stage next year. stern des sudens!

in other news, check out the new badass commericial by nike soccer ... "my time is now"

This game was horrible. Sooo many golden opportunities for Bayern missed, wayyy too many. Very disappointed with Arjen, Gomez, and Müller. Although Müller's goal was nice, Bayern could have easily beat Chelsea. Bayern is the better team, but they couldn't finish and its sad. Drogba proved to be the clutch for Chelsea once again, big ups to him. All the fans knew, when he stepped up for his pk, that it would be game over right there. Congrats to Chelsea, but Bayern should have taken it.

As a Gunners fan I never root for Tottenham, but I would much rather see the Spurs in the Champions League than Chelsea. I'm so sick of Terry, Drogba, Cole & co. Anyone else feel the same?
